In an annual tradition, with a now virtual spin, members of the Scottish Ahlul Bayt Society and the Shia Community participated in a Zoom Blessing with the Revd Canon Marion Chatterley, Vice Provost St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, and The Rt Rev John Armes, Bishop of Edinburgh. Every year, during the final days of the Month of Ramadhan, with great warmth and fraternity, the Scottish Episcopal Church allow us to convene at St Mary’s Cathedral in Edinburgh and share in a blessing and a prayer during the auspicious time. Today, prayers and reflections were shared that bring our two communities closer together. We pray for the alleviation of the suffering of all those who suffer, and that happiness and blessings be showered on all. Our earnest appreciation extends to Marion and Bishop John for their kindness.
